Diane von Furstenberg's Fall 2008 Ready-to-Wear line is based on the idea of a "Glamorous Refugee". She pays homage to her mother's style in the 1940's War Era and updates it for the modern woman. Diane says, "She is a singer, she could be a spy...She's a Femme Fatale". I love this collection, it reminds me of myself. Sometimes I feel like maybe I should have been born in another era.
